Golfschaukel is imposingly set on no less than 190 hectares, the equivalent of 530 football pitches. Without a cart it is the equivalent of a days hiking tour just to get to know the whole grounds. There is hardly a resort in Europe that is spread over such an enormous area.

At first, the golf course had 9 holes, then 18 and as from 2005, golfers have a choice of 27 holes. The three 9-hole courses are independent of each other and can be combined any way the player chooses. In combination with the course Ellmau, the Wilder Kaiser becomes a championship course. The nine holes of the golf course Tirol complete the golfing experience.
