Holes 1 through 9 play inland and uphill through dense tropical vegetation and provide the player with magnificent views of Nusa Dua below, the Indian Ocean, and on a clear day a view of distant mountains. The setting of holes 1 through 9 features creeks, canyons, and native vegetation filled with tropical birds. The golf course architect team of Robin Nelson and Rodney Wright incorporated small hand-built stone walls to terrace the sides of fairways and tees in order to emulate the rice fields terraces of the Bali countryside.
Holes 10 through 16 present the golfer with lush gently sculptured fairways through a mature coconut grove. Some coconut palms as tall as 100 feet, provide vertical definition to the golf course.
Holes 17 and 18 the golfer experiences a beautiful seaside setting.
The 17th hole plays out to the beautiful blue Indian Ocean and usually into a cool ocean breeze. The 18th hole plays from the beach back to the clubhouse along side a 16-acre lake.

How to regrip your Golf Clubs

(No, my pants aren’t unzipped, the flap won’t cover the zipper right for some reason. And yes, this is a spare room with stuff stored in it, so it’s messy. Also, if you’re going to be regripping graphite shafted clubs, use a hook blade instead so you don’t cut the graphite.)

Re-grip golf clubs with tire inflator

If you don’t have an air compressor, a tire inflator will do the trick! The grip shown was not held on with 2-sided tape, only masking tape. For 2 sided tape, slide a plastic tube over the grip to keep it from exploding, and squirt some solvent into the vent hole. Then apply air, the grip will swell, and finally the air will find its way out the far end. At that point, remove the tube, then blow the grip off the club.
