Why are golf courses exempted from pesticide bans?
I understand why agriculture and the spraying of noxious weeds (ie poison ivy) are exempted but why Golf Courses. Do golf courses need to be weedfree when golf courses don’t affect human health and welfare?
Becuase people love to play there golf. If you really think about it, its politics, and who ever the politician is, there only trying to keep there votes. Although it has been proven time and again threw many studies that as long as a herbicide is applyed at the proper rate, and ALL intructions are followed properly, a herbicide is perfectly safe. Its when careless use, or when the intructions are not followed properly is when the problems happen.

They pay big bucks to be able to contaminate your water tables. Whats the problem are you planning on having children in the future? If not than I wouldn’t worry. Mansanto has it all taken care of for you.

The pesticide ban is silly and will actually worsen health conditions. Ragweed, milkweed and many other species will flourish so if you are an allergy sufferer you’re in for quite a ride.
