What kind of golf clubs should I buy?

I would like to take up the sport of golf, however first I need a set of clubs. I just need to know what a good set or brand would be for a beginner such as myself who does not want to break the bank right away.
There are many low priced clubs sets made just for beginners. Don’t over spend on your first set of clubs, wait until you’ve played for a while to see how you like the game. Here are some inexpensive clubs for beginners.

Go to wal mart and buy ram for $100. Do not buy good brands such as taylor made, callaway, titlest when your just starting out. Once u get better and break around 80 than buy a nice set. and you’ll improve a LOT.

well if you are just starting off i would not go out an buy an expensive brand like Callaway or a Taylor Made.
try and get a Wilson. that’s an okay set for beginners. try your local sports store or you can even check at yard sales, i know that doesn’t sound good, but you can get a pretty good set if you’re at the right place at the right time. if none of that sounds good, well here is a list of what is at wallmart.
