Why Walk When You Can Ride?
Golf is an excellent sport for your health. You can be outside enjoying the beauty of nature, stretching, bending, and keeping fit. However, some of us enjoy golf for the game itself and are not interested in walking eighteen holes.
If you would rather not walk the entire course then maybe you should look into purchasing a golf cart. Why walk when you can ride?
Renting Golf Equipment such as a cart is an economical option for those who are not quite sure that they are ready to own one quite yet. Renting one at a private golf course might cost you $30.00 for eighteen holes but will be even less at a public course.
It’s an inexpensive option to purchasing your own personal cart. But if you are ready to buy then you truly can find whatever you want.
It is now possible to have your own customized cart. You can have any kind of golf training aid you want but a golf vehicle is something special. That is, if you are willing to pay the price.
Golf carts no longer have to be merely functional vehicles that get you from point A to point B. You can buy one in pink, blue, red or any color your heart could desire. You can create an uptown vehicle that will take you around the course in style.
There really are so many options for golf service vehicles now. Several companies offer options with or without a canopy to keep you and your partner in the shade and any cart can be created to carry two or up to six people.
You can also have luxuries such as a cooler and satellite radio installed as well. The choices are endless but so is the price.
Golf as a luxury game really lives up to its reputation in this aspect. The sky is the limit when it comes to customized designs.
At $760.00 you can purchase one that is a nice dependable vehicle. But at $6,000.00 you get a nice dependable vehicle that looks really nice on the course and has extra perks.
You can even spend as much as $18,000.00 on a cart that looks like a limo or a Hummer vehicle. A chrome front grill will cost you an extra $500.00.
Luxury and customized Golf Carts are not for the faint of heart, but if you are looking for a ride that will allow you to travel the course in comfort and style then you can certainly find it. If you can dream it, it can be created.

Walk and run I think that’s the best way.

losing body fat is a matter of caloric intake
do squats…it’s the ultimate exercise.

running is best because you are exercising your heart. Bicycling would be second.

dont walk or run. try to just jog it out until you’re ready to start going faster and increasing your endurance. biking is also great on the side too. you can also crunches and squats at home to tone up if you cant afford a gym. eat a lot of little meals a day instead of 1 or 2 heavy meals that involve limited carbohydrates like rice, bread, starchy foods. eat more fruits, meat, vegetables. remember that losing weight isnt just about working out, its really about diet.

if you can then you should run. running is better than biking because when you run you work your arms which burns additional calories.
they say running for more than 30 minutes is a very effective fat burning method. you should work your way up to running/jogging for 45 minutes at least a 3 or 4 times a week.
a balanced diet and plenty of exercise are very effective for slimming down. sit ups and a walk every now and then are not

Biking as well as walking work well when trying to lose weight & get in shape. Running is too hard on the body’s joints. Brisk walking can burn the same amount of calories as though you were running. Alternate days of biking & walking so neither will become boring to you. Drinking lots of water daily will help you lose weight as well. A safe way to figure the amount to drink is figured like this. Take your current body weight, divide that by two, & the answer is the amount of ounces you can drink & be safe. Water flushes all the fat & impurities out of your body, keeps you well hydrated, & is good for having healthy skin, hair, & nails. When walking, start out slowly, then increase speed & distance each day, until you reach the speed & distance you desire. The same goes when biking. Both are easy on the joints & will indeed help you lose weight.

Start slow, if you’re out of shape and you start off with too much it’ll just discourage you. By walking briskly for 45 min every other day you can start off slow. If you go too fast, for example running right away then you’ll be burning glycogen. By starting slow and keeping a steady pace your body won’t burn off the glycogen which will leave you feeling tired, but will start to burn off only the fat. As you start working out more often I would then do something called a walk/run. Walking for say 4 min and then do a slow run for 1 min. As you get better you can start to run more and walk less. And you’re body will become a more efficient fat burner. Using the walk breaks will make it easier for your body to recover faster. The bike is also great as long as you don’t kill yourself in the beginning and go at least 45 min. It’s also a non-pounding exercise, which is good for your knees and other joints, because if say you’re outside on pavement everyday that’s a very hard surface and not too gentle on the joints. Also severe food restrictions are going to cause you problems. Don’t limit your caloric intake too much or your body is going to hold onto more of the food and turn it into fat. Your body has the natural instinct to want to keep you from starving. This instinct especially kicks in when it thinks that it’s not going to get the food it needs. Also you should be eating 5-6 small meals a day. Going 5 hours during the day without food can cause you to overeat for the next 12-36 hours. I know it’s hard work. I gained like 40 lbs in college and I had to work so hard to make it come off. Good luck, you can do it!!!!

Jeff Galloway, I ran my first marathon in 2007 and it was the best and most rewarding experience of my life. You should pick up one of his books, even if you never run a marathon they’re very informative on food and exercising
