If you own property there get a "Golf Passport." (See Myrtle Beach Golf Passport on the web.)
If you are over 50 get a Grand Strand Senior Center book, you pay only a little more than cart fees.
If you’re on vacation go to PGA Superstore (formerly Martin’s Golf and Tennis) and there is a kiosk with discounts at the entrance.
Some hotels can get special deals.

There is advertising in the Golf Digest by the Chamber of Commerce at Myrtle Beach. Contact them for information and they will send you a brochure covering the courses in the area. Those listed in Feb, 2009 issue were going for a minimum of $100 per round. You should be able to negotiate better prices during this economy.

I’ve used them for years and they’re fantastic!
Golf rates are lowest during the summer, but hotel rates are high; it’s the opposite in winter.
Summer golf rates are nearly 1/2 of what the winter rates are.

The golfdesk was great for us. I highly recommend staying at the Legends resort. Very well located and free range balls whenever you want them.
