Ebay vs. Discount online golf stores?
I’ve recently been shopping for a new set of irons. Imparticularly – Callaway x-24′s. I’ve discovered a few sites that offer these for anywhere from $375 – $450 new. One site for example is www.golfclubs365.com I realize there is a good chance that these may be "clones" or "knock offs" but, who’s to say the clubs on ebay are not. I’d like to get some opinions on how to save a little ching but still get quality clubs. thanks.
When you buy on E-Bay, look for good reviews and a good quantity. Make sure they have been in business for awhile. If possible, contact them either via e-mail or phone. I bought Mizuno clubs that list for $599 or $650 for about $250 on e-bay. They were new out of the box from a pro shop and had not been hit unless someone used tape. Same with my mountain bike. Brand new $900 bike for about $400-$450.

You’re correct in assuming that on-line retailers are selling knock offs,Ebay sellers also sell cloned clubs. You’re best best is to go to a well known company and NOT just any web site.http://www.tgw.com/customer/search.jsp?search=X24&x=9&y=11
