Do you want to plan a Jamaica golf vacation with a small group of friends? If so, the experience will be one you will never forget, but the planning stages may be something you wish you could skip. For tips on how to plan a Jamaica golf vacation with friends with ease, please continue reading on.

1 – Get a Headcount

Before you start making your Jamaica travel plans, it is important to know who is attending. If you are in charge of making arrangements never accept an “I do not know.” If you are sharing the cost of a hotel or resort room, this could seriously impact everyone’s ability to pay their share.

Instead, create a specific deadline. For example, give everyone two weeks to decide whether or not they will attend your group Jamaica golf vacation. The earlier you plan your trip, the more notice and time to think participants will have.

2 – Request Passports

Every member of your traveling party needs to have a valid passport. This is important, as it is required. If you are in charge of planning your Jamaica golf vacation with friends, simply ask once and then offer a few polite reminders. Since a passport can take one to two months to arrive, it is important to start planning your Jamaica travels early and in advance.

3 – Create a Budget

The ideal way to plan a golf vacation with friends is to spilt the cost down the middle. For example, will two people stay in one hotel room? If so, those two individuals can spilt the cost of the room and so forth. Other aspects of the trip, such as airline reservations, food, and drinks, should be paid for separately.

Since your overnight accommodation costs may be shared, it is important to create a budget. How much can each member of your traveling party afford? If traveling on a budget, remember that luxury is nice, but it isn’t a requirement.

4 – Examine Jamaica Hotels and Resorts

Once you have an idea of how much your traveling party can afford to spend on overnight accommodations, start examining your options. If possible, do not go over your budget. Search for hotels and resorts based on location and then price. Choose the most affordable option. If not traveling on a budget, opt for quality over costs.

In keeping with Jamaica hotels and resorts, those on Jamaica golf vacations are encouraged to examine super or all-inclusive resorts. These resorts are different than traditional hotels and resorts where you only pay for your room. Instead, your cost includes room, food, drinks, tips, and some forms of entertainment. If you opt for this approach, individual packages will need to be purchased, as opposed to sharing the costs.

As for why you should examine super or all-inclusive Jamaica resorts, some have onsite golf courses. In fact, green fees may already be included in the cost of your stay. Not only is this an affordable option, but it is convenient, as you do not have to leave the property to enjoy a round of golf.

5 – Examine Jamaica Golf Courses

Even if you opt to stay at a Jamaica all-inclusive resort with an onsite golf course, you may wish to spice up your trip. This means visiting other area courses. You will want to research these courses ahead of time online. First, examine the costs. Next, examine the quality of the golf course by viewing pictures or reading reviews online. Finally, decide if the Jamaica golf course in question is one you want to visit. If so, see if reservations are required.

6 – Remember the Quicker You Plan, the Better

As previously stated, a Jamaica golf vacation with friends will be fun, but the planning stages may be a nightmare. Even close friends and family members have different wants, needs, and requirements. When traveling with a group, it is important to compromise. If one member of your party is traveling on a budget, compromise and opt for an affordable hotel.

As a recap, it is important to get a headcount, request passports, review Jamaica hotels and resorts, examine Jamaica golf courses, and make your travel arrangements. After doing so, you can sit back and relax and wait for your trip to arrive.

Highlights of an Algarve Golf Holiday

Portugal is one of the most popular places for luxury golf holidays, and the Algarve is the country’s star attraction. This region, located on Portugal’s sunny south coast, is a real golfer’s delight. There are plenty of highlights to be found on an Algarve golf holiday, and listed below are some of the best features that it has to offer…

Outstanding Courses

If you are interested in an Algarve golf holiday, the quality of the courses is what matters above all. You won’t be disappointed – the Algarve’s Golf Courses are among the prettiest in the world. There are plenty to choose from, and there are some real gems to be found all along the coast.

Monte Rei is often regarded as the best course in Portugal. It has only been open since 2007 but this Jack Nicklaus course is tough, intricate, and a real delight to play on. With slick service and great scenery, it’s a great day’s golf.

San Lorenzo Golf Club is another outstanding course. Perhaps the most beautiful golf course in the Algarve, San Lorenzo is positioned alongside the spectacular Ria Formosa nature reserve. It features numerous lakes and is encircled by a pine forest but the course offers more than just a beautiful landscape; it’s a fine mix of shortish holes, “thinking” holes and frightening ones! A perfect test for more experienced golfers.

Luxury Golf Hotels

Almost all of the best golf courses in the Algarve have their own dedicated golf hotels. These hotels are the perfect base from which to enjoy a relaxing golf break; offering outstanding facilities (typically including spas, swimming pools, restaurants and gyms) along with luxurious comfort and great service. You are spoilt for choice when it comes to choosing your accommodation for an Algarve golf holiday, but two of the best golf hotels are Le Meridien Penina (one of the oldest golf hotels but kept in pristine condition amid 300 acres of parkland) and Vila Sol, with two excellent restaurants and a superb luxury spa. Henry Cotton designed the course and retired here – arguably Great Britain’s best ever golfer – assurance enough that this has always been a classy affair.

Amazing Scenery

As any keen golfer will tell you, enjoying the scenery is an essential part of a truly great round of golf, and the Algarve doesn’t disappoint. From lush forests and verdant greens to dramatic coastal landscapes, a golf break in the Algarve will give you plenty of spectacular scenery to admire as you play. The landscape around Tavira is especially beautiful as the town is a part of one of the biggest nature reserves in Portugal, and nature-loving golfers should head to this part of the Algarve for their golf holidays.

Great Weather

Plenty of golfers take their golf holidays in the Algarve because of the quality of the courses but the gorgeous weather is another big draw for the region. The combination of sunshine and soothing coastal breezes make for perfect golfing weather and some of the best beaches in Europe provide an opportunity to correct the “golfer’s tan”.

When you think of sunshine golf locations Spain and Portugal come to mind, but golf holidays in Turkey are going to be catching them up in 2009. This is in part thanks to the huge investment in the country’s tourism that has seen some splendid courses and hotels pop up in recent years. But it’s not just the golf that makes Turkey a quality holiday choice…

The Golf

Golf in Turkey has received massive financial investment, and it’s a testament to how far the country has come in such a short time that the Turkish Golf Federation – only established 12 years ago – have won the rights to host the World Amateur Golf Championship in 2012.

Although courses are being built around the country, I would recommend focusing on Belek with its impressive density of quality courses. The pick of these are National, Sultan and the Nick Faldo course at Cornelia. Gloria New and Old are lovely tracks too. In fact, there’s not a weak one on the circuit and they all provide good holiday golf with the all-important near-guaranteed sunshine. There are enough courses for a fortnight’s vacation and all but the most serious golfer will come away very, very satisfied.

The Hotels

The hotels around Belek really push it from a good to great place for golf holidays.
The hotels offer fantastic facilities and friendly and efficient service for a surprisingly low cost. Worthy of special mention are the impressive six five-star hotels which are well placed for Belek’s courses: The Gloria Golf Resort, the Cornelia Deluxe Resort, Sueni, Kempinski The Dome, Sirene Golf-Hotel and Maritim Pine Beach Resort. Serious rivals to what is offered on the Algarve and Costa del Sol in terms of quality and service.

The Climate

Warm, dry weather is perfect for golf holidays and Turkey doesn’t disappoint. It can be too hot to play in the summer but from February to June and September to November, the weather is ideal and even December and January are a whole lot nicer than the UK spring months!

The Culture

Before you even consider the golf, Turkey has a rich cultural history and it’s a truly amazing experience just to wander the towns and cities taking in the elaborate architecture and cultural heritage. There is a huge amount to take in and the various museums and galleries are great for culture buffs. And for those who want light culture with blissful relaxation, the legendary Turkish Baths are well worth a visit.

The Food

Turkish cuisine is far more than a “kebab”. Meze (or appetisers) is what the country is best for – a choice of hundreds of small dishes ranging from cheese with melon to a variety of stuffed vegetables. You’re sure to find something to your tastes with the huge variety available!

Turkey golf breaks are definitely on the up and the combination of fine golf, great accommodation and culture means that the destination should be on everyone’s lists.
Take a golf holiday in Turkey… Before everyone else does.

Irish golf vacations combine a golfing experience in two countries: Eire, or the Irish Republic, and Northern Ireland, which is part of the United Kingdom. However, you would not notice by the welcome you will receive in each part of the island. The Emerald Isle is well named after its lush greenery, and the golf courses in Ireland make full use of that.

In fact, many of the Irish golf courses are links courses, such as Royal Portrush, used for the Senior British Open, and Ballybunion, a links course in County Kerry that is situated in a small seaside town. Ballybunion is rated among the top ten golf courses in the world, and is a typical links course, built among sand dunes on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean. Tom Watson loves it.

Too Many Irish Golf Courses to Name

There is little point in naming the famous Irish golf courses since it would take more room that is available here, so let’s just assume that all the courses you play on your Irish golfing vacation will be good ones. What you need to know now is what else Ireland has to offer.

Well, there is the Irish whiskey, the Irish stout such as Murphy’s or Guinness, and the Irish welcome. There are leprechauns, the Blarney Stone and the fantastic Dublin Bay prawns. There is everything for every member of the family, from the bright lights of Dublin, Galway and Cork to the seaside resorts and funfairs than dot the coastline of Ireland from Dublin, and right round back to Dublin again.

Whatever golfing vacation package you choose, you will find plenty for the family to do. There are walks, water sports, fishing of all kinds, both inland and sea fishing…try the shark fishing if you have the guts for it…and also the people. Only in Ireland will find grocery stores with a small bar round the back, where you are offered a drink while you wait until the official opening time!

Enjoy the Vacation but Don’t Forget the Golf

Many people end up forgetting the golf and just enjoying the vacation. It’s that kind of place. If, however, you are a serious golf player, then you will not be short of golf courses or people to play against. The golf schools are excellent, with a wealth of experience in teaching the game. After all, this is the home of Padraig Harrington, Darren Clarke and Paul McGinley, and if you are wondering who they are, ask the American Ryder Cup team!

There is a lot to do during Irish golf vacations, and lots of people willing to teach you how to do it properly. When it comes to golf and entertainment the Irish excel, and you will enjoy an experience that you will always remember. Great golf and a great time for everybody!

Golf -You Don’t Need Luck To Strike A Great Deal In Vegas

It is a real challenge at times to find a great vacation deal. Often times you are visiting new places you have never been, so you have no idea where to stay in order to get a good price. Las Vegas is no exception as it can feel like gambling when you are trying to find the perfect hotel at a perfect price in that city. What would you say if you heard you can find a great vacation spot in Las Vegas and get a golf package to boot? Well read on because your dream is about to come true.Visit to : http://golfclub-review.blogspot.com

There are a lot of ways to get good deals on great places. For example you can checkout Internet sites, read books and magazines, or buy timeshares or coupon books. But let’s not forget about golfing. Think about whether or not you want to bring your clubs on the plane, or would it be better to rent clubs? And don’t forget expenses like caddy fees, green fees, and fees to rent a golf cart. There are a lot of pricey items to consider when planning a Vegas vacation.
Websites and books are great resources to find out important information about pricing. A lot of the time, in Las Vegas, timeshares or hotels will offer packages such as a luxurious golf vacation. Some timeshares and hotels offer that amenity in the price of the hotel room itself. If the hotel does include the green fee then all you have to worry about it the Golf Cart rental, caddy fee, and club rental if you choose. Remember with club rentals that not all golf courses offer this so you must check before arriving.http://golfclub-review.blogspot.com
Are you still be wondering how to know you are getting the best available deal on your Vegas golf vacation? Check out the Web and do a price comparison of Golf Courses in the area you wish to stay. You will notice that some courses include caddy fees in the price of using the course (either way, do not forget about tipping). Check on golf cart rental fees while you are doing your online research – prices vary widely. Look for the many deals offered online before you book your tee times or hotel stay.

It can be difficult to compare options because details of packages vary widely. One package might include all fees in the room price, while others break green fees and caddy fees out separately. Some places are pricey because they’re located on the Las Vegas strip, while others are cheap because they are off the strip. Some courses are designed for advanced players, while others are designed for casual golfers. Consider your preferences. Would you rather play on the strip or off the strip? Do you play for fun or for a good challenge? Preferences and prices must both be considered when comparing the many options available to you.
Don’t forget to check out golf magazines when doing vacation research. Golf magazine ads and articles focus mainly on quality courses and great package deals. Golf magazines often cite agencies specializing in all inclusive golf vacation packages. It can be especially helpful to review pictures in magazines and online to get a feel for courses and hotels if you have never been in the area before.

If you are still struggling with your choices, make calls to Pro Shops in the area you plan to stay. Ask pro shop employees for their opinion on where to stay and where to play. These employees are knowledgeable about their golf course and competitor courses in the area. Pro shop personnel will gladly offer guidance as to which courses match your skills, service needs, and bank account.
Do your homework if you want to save big money. This article has highlighted the many resources that can help you find high quality golf places at low prices in Las Vegas. It is easy to overlook important details. Do not forget about fees, tipping, location preferences, and services like club rentals before booking your Vegas vacation. http://golfclub-review.blogspot.com
