How much to rent a golf cart for a wedding?

I am getting married and it is going to be a pretty big event. The venue is going to be a clearing out on some property in the woods. It would be nice to have a golf cart to transport older folks from the parking area to the ceremony and reception. Basically my question is: 1. Would a golf course rent you a Golf Cart for a day if it isnt going to be used on their course? 2. How much do you think this would cost?

if it,s A Big Fat Gypsy Wedding,hire a bus,ok,,,lol

If you want to have an easier time walking around the golf course, but do not have the need for a motorised golf cart, then you may want to look into buying an electric Golf Cart and/or golf trolley. These carriers are more than just a place to stick your clubs, they can make it simpler and less tiring to play your eighteen holes on Sunday afternoon.

Features

The features that you want in a push trolley or electric cart will depend on which type you buy, but with both types you want to look for a smooth design and airless tires. The motor on your electric cart should be quiet and efficient, and be able to move around the course easily, even if there are steep hills or rocky areas.

You will also want to remember to protect your investment, and choose the longest warranty that is offered by the shop you buy your cart from, if you choose the electric variety. Since the cart will need some regular minor maintenance, now is maybe the right time to buy yourself a tool set made specifically for the cart. Since the cost of these electric carts can runs around $300 and upwards, it is a good idea to make sure that they get the maintenance that they need on time.

Accessories

You will also want to make sure that you get some basic accessories. While the electric version may come with a battery charger, which you will need on a regular basis, you may also want to consider buying an extra set of batteries at the time of purchase, so that you always have a battery fully charged and ready to go.

Heres a cost reducing tip. When I purchased my electric cart, I also purchased an extra set of batteries, a very small wind turbine and a small solar panel, plus the converter and bits and pieces. The wind turbine and solar panel I installed on my garage roof, and they now provide all the free power to recharge the batteries.

You may also want to buy a rain protection cover for your new cart and bag, especially if you play golf in poor weather conditions. The rain cover can protect your Golf Clubs, your golf bag and personal belongings in it, and your new cart, from any possible water damage.

Value

If you are concerned about the cost of the new cart/trolley/bag, then you may want to stop and consider all of the benefits that you will be getting. First, you will not have to deal with the strain of carrying your golf clubs on your shoulders all day. This will help you play better throughout your round, especially when you are a seasonal or occasional player.

Second, you will be able to carry all of your favorite clubs, and all the golf gear you want, without worrying about the weight of your bag slowing you down and holding up the game. The push version of the caddy does require more effort than the electric version, but will still cut down on your strain significantly.

Buying

If you have NOT done your homework, and go out to buy a new electric cart or golf trolley or Golf Bag, without having a reasonable idea of what you are looking for, then you will get ripped off. Just doing a little bit of research, could save you an awful lot of money. And you know that makes sense.

Finding Cart and Trolley Golf Bags

When you have a new golf cart or trolley, then finding the right golf bag to go with it, becomes one of the most important things on your mind. When you want to have the most choice and still be able to save a little money, you may want to consider shopping both online and in your local shops. Then, you can compare prices to see where you will get the best return for your money.

Size and Space

When you are shopping for a new bag for your golf cart, then you know that you want a more spacious bag that you can use. The main problem with looking for more space is that some people tend to overestimate the amount of space that they need, and buy a bag that is too large to carry from the trunk of their car to the golf course. Also, a too large bag will take up tons of space in your car, so you will have to take it out every time that you go shopping.

I look at it this way. I am an amateur golfer, not a pro. I do not earn enough money to be able to pay someone else to do all the lugging and carrying around. A moderately sized bag will allow you to carry all of the personal items that you need on your Golf Cart, without having to kill yourself everytime you have to get the bag in or out of your car. Plus, a smaller bag will be easier to take in and out of the club where you play.

Features

A great Golf Bag will be one that has all of the features that you need, but at a reasonable price. Some of the features that you can choose include a personal cooler for drinks while you are on the course and plenty of spacious compartments for all of your golfing equipment. Have a look at all the gear you carry and work out how much space you actually need. Once you know exactly which features you want to have, then it will be easier to shop for the bag that you want online.

Along with a variety of features, you will also be able to choose from many different sizes and styles. Some of the most popular styles are those that are functionally effective rather than aesthetically pleasing, but with the right research, you can find a bag that looks great and works well for your personal golfing needs.

Replacements and Accessories

When you have purchased your new cart or trolley golf bag, you will then need to know more about where to find accessories or replacement parts, once again, looking online is probably going to be your best option. You can even find replacement remote controls for your electric caddies online, which is good news for those who have a tendency to lose their small items. Once you have all of the accessories that you need, you will be able to golf without worrying about buying new items for a long time to come.

When you buy cart and trolley golf bags, especially if you are giving them as a gift, you may want to purchase a whole set to fit the needs of any golfer you know. One of the main advantages of buying a set rather than an individual bag is that you will be able to have everything that you need to go golfing with one purchase, and you can save a little money at the same time by choosing a set.

What You Get

When you choose set, you will get the main bag that holds your clubs, along with one or two additional items that will make carrying all of your gear easier. Most sets come with an additional accessory bag that attaches to the main bag, along with a carry along bag that is designed to hold your golf shoes. If you have been having trouble keeping up with all of the things that you need to go out and catch a few holes, then a set will be the perfect addition to your golfing collection.

Another benefit of buying a set of bags for all of your golfing equipment is that you can identify everything you need in just seconds, since all of the set will be in matching colors and styles, so that you can be out the door and on your way to the course in just minutes. Sets are also perfect for anyone who plays golf after (or during) work, and needs to carry along a set of golf clothes and shoes to work with them.

Covers and Clubs

Most cart or trolley golf bags also come with at least a few club covers, so that your *best ever* seven iron or your other favorites will always be protected. Even if you want to have all of your clubs covered, matching covers will allow you to note which club is which without having to take the time to uncover each one to find what you need.

For most, club covers are not one of the most important features of the set that they purchase, even though it is a nice addition to your golfing collection. Instead, features such as space and design take the leading position. If you have to carry your bag around the course, however, you will want to make sure that it is not too big, or it may simply be too heavy to carry for long.

Weight

For most, a standard Golf Bag could weigh up to forty pounds when you have your clubs and other golfing gear in it. If carrying your clubs around the course is starting to cause problems with your neck, shoulders or arms, then it may be time to look at that electric golf trolley. Electric trolleys and bags are an excellent choice when you want to have less work when you play golf, but do not want the great expense of buying a motorised Golf Cart.

Golf Cart and Trolley Considerations

If you are losing your strength by the end of your golf round, then it may be time for you to consider buying a new Golf Cart or trolley and Golf Bag to help you improve your game. This is especially true if you are simply using an old traditional carry bag, which can cause you to have problems keeping your arms and shoulders feeling fresh for the swing. You can use a push along golf trolley to help you save your arms for your swing, or you can purchase an electric cart if you want total freedom from carrying a bag.

When you upgrade from a golf carry bag to a push or electric trolley, you may be surprised at how much easier it becomes to complete your eighteen holes of golf. You can even opt for a remote controlled electric trolley if you want to have complete freedom, since you will not even have to guide it with your hands. You just point it in the right direction and away it goes.

You may be worried about the cost of upgrading to a new golf trolley, but you can often find great deals on electric trolleys when you shop online. But before you actually go out and purchase one, there are a few things you should think about.

What Do You Need

There are several things that you will want to consider before you choose your new golf trolley. First of all, you will want to know exactly what you need. If you play golf two or three times a week, for example, you may want to spend a few extra dollars for an electric trolley. If you only play golf once or twice a month, however, you may do just fine with a push trolley for your clubs and gear.

Once you have evaluated your personal needs, then you can begin looking for the features that you want. If you are going for an electric trolley, one of the most important considerations are the batteries. Do you want them just for 18 holes of play, or maybe for 27 or even 36 holes? You will want to think about the Golf Courses that you mainly use, and what the terrain is before you buy you new trolley. Even then, however, you will want to make sure that the bag is light enough for your everyday use.

Another consideration should be the weight and size. Not just of the trolley, but the weight of the bag (fully loaded) as well. While your trolley of choice may be perfect for you, if it does not fit in the trunk of your car, then how do you get it to the golf course.

Online Shopping and Sales

Once you know what you need, you can begin shopping around for the best deal on the golfing equipment that you want. You can usually find a better price if you shop online, so make sure that you look for a reputable store before you commit to buying from any online vendor. You will also want to check their return policy, so that if you do choose the wrong cart or trolley, you can return it.

There is NO secret to shopping online. You just need to do a little homework to save yourself a fair amount of money. You may even want to visit a local vendor before you commit to buying one type of trolley, so that you can find exactly what you want.
