Why purchase used golf balls when you can buy new ones? You have seen tons of website selling them but is there really a need for them? Golf balls are a really interesting topic and much more technical than the other equipment. In fact it can also become the most expensive Golf Equipment you ever need.

If you are Bill Gates or Warren Buffet, forget about what i said. Shelling out money for them is not that much of a problem. A couple of golfers i know would not mind purchasing $30 a dozen for golf balls and losing almost all for a start. But after some rounds around the range, they felt the pinch. Their new golf balls ended up in water hazards and thick bushes!

For a start, lower your ego and pride if that is what is stopping you from using used golf balls to improve your game. Your high score is nothing to be proud of for a start! Used golf balls can help you improve your skills and enhanced your techniques before you purchase new ones. They are much more worth it and ease your mind off the bucks you would lose when your balls drown in the pond to concentrate your game!

Something a inexperienced golfer should know. Your golf balls will lose performance after rounds of playing with them. Hence, used golf balls are in handy but get them at a good quality with still plenty of rounds left in it or you will be wasting your money.

Where do you find these used golf balls?

Find them at the local golf course you go to or any retail store. I would recommend going online to purchase for a few reasons. You can review other people’s feedback to see if the online store’s reliability of grading.

Why is this needed?

The truth out there is grading is done by people, not machines. There is no consistency among all used golf balls online seller. Ever heard one man’s meat is another man’s poison? It is the same over here. The best way to check is on other purchasers feedback on the quality of the grading!

You can purchase good quality used golf balls for $15 a dozen for top brands like Titleist, Nike and Bridgestone. That is like less than $2 a ball compared to $5 a ball for a new one. With the savings, you get to purchase more Golf Balls and get more practice!

Everyone knows that golf is much more of a psychological mental game than others. If you are using new golf balls, your mental focus will shift to your wallet rather on your game when you approach a water hazard.

Bottom line here, spend your money where it should be to get the most out of your time and game! Go used golf balls before you switch to new!

What are the best Nike brand golf balls to get?

One of the things my dad wants for Christmas is Nike golf balls. Which of these (below) would be the best to get him?

Nike Juice Plus Golf Balls
Nike Crush Golf Balls
Nike One Vapor Golf Balls
Nike Power Distance Soft
Nike NDX Heat Golf Balls

Are there any other Nike brand that are not mentioned that would be better?

I really like the Nike Power Distance Soft especially if you are getting them as a gift these are great for most players. They really are great value for a well made golf ball. I bought mine from https://www.golfclubs.com/golf-balls/nike-power-distance-soft if you want to take a look there.

Putting your golf balls into the hole can never be easier if you know them well! The rise of golf into a global sport have been tremendous and you can spend hours just putting the ball into 18 holes! What a work out! Everyone loves it! Including me! But of course if you are just new into golf and wandering into the world of “a ball in 18 holes”, this is much complex than you can imagine. However, stay tune and i will introduce the basic things that you need to know.

When you first start out, be prepared to lose a lot of your precious golf balls. As your skills are not that skilled, you will find your golf balls in many other areas other than the fairway! Hence, your main priority at a start is to budget on them before you burn a hole in your pocket! These are the common type of names that you will normally come across when you purchase a golf ball to help you save cost!

Before you start, spend plenty of time at the golf range to improve your shots! The balls you should be playing around with are range balls. They cost a few bucks for a bucket and you can spend your time trying out various shots! After all, practice makes perfect!

Ok! Now you are ready to try out the course! It is time to shop for great cheap golf balls that will last you all the way. The first type you can take a look is used balls. It is the cheapest you can get out there! Various online shops and garage sales can be found selling these golf balls. Some make a living off collecting and selling them!

If you do not like the idea of using other people’s balls and want them new, you can go for X-outs. They are produced by branded companies but failed the quality control. Normally, the failure is just a slip up in look and feel rather than the ball. They are stamped with X and sold at a cheap price together with the rest.

Refurbished balls are another option. They are balls which have been repainted and re-branded so that it looks brand new. They would be a little more expensive than used Golf Balls but they are not the best to play with. You never know how much rounds have been played with on the ball till you played it. They are very good for practice but not serious rounds.

A better version would be closeout balls. They are found in the closeout bins of major online golf retailers as they are discontinued older brands. These companies just let them out on the cheap when they are phasing out old models.

What you would find in certain online shops are logo overrun golf balls. These golf balls are generally with logos of companies or organization but they were produced with a mistake in quantity or design. They are brand new balls and can be purchased at bulk discounts. A great value for money!

The last type would definitely be value balls! They are great balls which minimize spins and maximize distance with great corrosion resistance. At a start, these are the balls you can go for if you do not want other people’s used or unused goods. They can be found normally as 2 piece construction with a hard feel of compression rating in the near 100s.
